It is during the AnimeJapan 2022 event that we learn, this Sunday, the release date of the anime Reincarnated as a Sword (Tensei Shitara Ken deshita).
A first visual, a video teaser as well as a first part of the staff and the cast of the series have also been unveiled for the occasion!
Thus, it is Shinji Ishihira who is directing the anime at the C2C animation studio. Takahiro Nagano is adapting Yuu Tanaka's script while Atsuko Saito is credited for character design, based on Llo's original designs. Yasuharu Takanashi composes the music.
As for dubbing actors, we find:
- Shin'ichiro Miki as "Master"
- Ai Kakuma as Fran

As a reminder, this anime is adapted from the light novel Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita, written by Yuu Tanaka and illustrated by Llo, initially published in October 2015 on the Japanese site Shosetsuka ni Naro then adapted into a novel by the Japanese publisher Micro Magazine from July 2016.

Reincarnated as a Sword Anime Synopsis
Following his death in a car accident, our protagonist is reincarnated in another world in the guise of a smart sword, with no memory of his real name.
Thanks to an ability allowing him to levitate, he begins by exploring his new world, before going in search of a person capable of manipulating it in order to embark on an adventure.
Only, due to a bad move, our living sword finds itself stuck in the ground, now having to wait for someone to pass by to get it out.
Some time later, a young catwoman named Fran is attacked by a monster and uses the nearby sword to defeat the creature!
This event marks the meeting between Fran and the sword that she will henceforth call "Master", and with whom she seems determined to leave to discover the world.
