A new Sasaki and Miyano anime, announced

It is via the official website of the series that we discover, this Sunday, the announcement of the production of a new anime Sasaki and Miyano (Sasaki to Miyano).

For now, the format of this new project has not yet been specified. It might as well be a season 2, a movie or a special episode.

More information is expected soon.

As a reminder, the first season of the series is directed by Shinji Ishihira at DEEN animation studio. Yoshiko Nakamura is writing the script while Maki Fujii is credited for character design. Kana Shibue composes the music.

The Sasaki and Miyano anime is adapted from the eponymous manga by Sho Harusono, pre-published on the comic pixiv website since 2016. In France, the manga is published by Akata editions while season 1 is available on Wakanim.

Sasaki and Miyano Anime Synopsis

We follow the story of Miyano, a high school student like the others, to the small detail ready that he loves manga of the genre Boy's Love.

While hiding his passion from everyone's eyes, he meets Sasaki, his senpai, and begins to get closer to him.

One day, the latter questions Miyano about his favorite genre of reading, in order to get to know him better.

The young high school student then decides to lend him some of his favorite manga, introducing Sasaki to a universe he did not suspect existed.

This anime is adapted from the eponymous manga by Sho Harusono, pre-published online on the comic pixiv website since 2016.
